Measurement, errors, forces, vectors, circular motion, momentum, energy, transformation, forces of charges in electric and magnetic fields, Faraday's Laws, Lenz's's Law, AC generator, Bohr atom, origin of spectra, lasers, interference, thin films, diffraction, nuclear physics.

Assessment is by one 2 hour written paper (40%) and internal assessment (60%).

Prerequisite: Physics 1.
